Year 9 rounders v Monkton Wood. Pyland won 13-7. Match report by Mya P.
In the first innings we started by fielding, where we dominated. After some amazing fielding and great teamwork, we managed to catch Monkton Wood out at the 15th ball with Monkton scoring one rounder.
Next up we were batting, after 15 good balls we managed to score eight rounders, putting us in the lead. In inning two Monkton came back stronger, scoring six rounders and completing all 20 balls.
Unfortunately when it came to our batting we weren’t able to match that, narrowly missing out with five rounders. But after the scores were added up Pyland won 13-7!
