Welcome to Pyrland School
Welcome to the website for Pyrland School, an oversubscribed secondary school in Taunton, Somerset. We are committed to providing a wide range of opportunities to ensure all students make the most of their learning and participate fully in school and community life.
The Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership is supporting the Richard Huish Trust in the next phase of development for our school. Having led Buckler’s Mead Academy in Yeovil to a strong ‘good’ Ofsted judgement in May 2024, I will be taking on leadership responsibilities.
I believe the students who come to this school deserve the very best education, which is rooted in a culture of sky high expectations. Our community deserves nothing but the best. I hope this website and our news section give a good flavour of our work, please contact us if you have any queries.
