Year 8 Rugby Report: A Season of Growth and Effort

By Mr Hedaux

The Year 8 rugby team has had a season full of hard work, determination and improvement. While we didn’t win as many games as we had hoped, the spirit and commitment displayed by all players was commendable.

Throughout the season, the team worked together, building strong teamwork and communication on the field. Even in the face of tough opposition, they showed resilience, never giving up and always pushing themselves to improve with each match.

The coaching staff has been impressed with the players’ dedication to training and their positive attitude, despite the results. Each player has developed new skills, whether it be in defence, attack, or support play. It’s clear that the team is progressing and that each player is taking on board the lessons from every game.

While the wins were limited, the team’s growth as a cohesive unit was the true highlight of the season. We look forward to seeing what next season brings, with a continued focus on improvement, teamwork, and enjoying the game.

Well done to all players for their effort and sportsmanship throughout the season!
