Match Highlights:
Harry G in goal was an absolute fortress. Shots came flying in, and he batted them away like they were nothing. He even started attacks with pinpoint kicks—basically a goalkeeper and playmaker in one. Ethan L ran more than a marathon in a single game. He covered every blade of grass, starting in defence before pushing into midfield. His energy and determination were key in both stopping attacks and driving the team forward. Stanley W-B, our fearless captain, was the brain and the brawn at the back. Organising the team, barking orders, and making sure everyone knew their jobs—basically a Year 7 version of Pep Guardiola but with shin pads. George S put in a defensive masterclass, including an outrageous goal-line clearance that had the crowd in disbelief. Heroic stuff. Onur M was a midfield magician, dancing through tackles and breaking up play like he was on a mission to stop any fun the opposition was having. Elijah L was a rocket down the wing, using his blistering pace to get into the perfect position and stab home a goal. Right place, right time—textbook poacher’s finish. Elijah H turned the pitch into his own personal skills showcase. Twisting, turning, dribbling past defenders like they were cones. He was causing so much chaos, Foxes defenders were probably having nightmares about him. Jimmy B put in a shift in midfield and scored a goal that looked like it was in slow motion. It took its time, everyone held their breath, and then… back of the net. Beautiful. Conner O was an absolute menace up front. He chased everything, pressured defenders like a debt collector, and let fly with shots whenever he got half a chance. The Fox’s defence will be seeing him in their sleep. Bobby G was a human vacuum cleaner at the back, cleaning up everything that came his way. Strikers thought they were through, then boom—Bobby was there, shutting the door. Oliver L was everywhere, working tirelessly, breaking up play, finding space, and generally making life miserable for the opposition. He might have actually teleported a few times.
The Final Verdict
