The Year 10 rounders team played their final competitive tournament. In three games, they won one and fell short on two. Report by Team Captain Chloe S.
.
In the first game, our team fielded amazingly well, restricting Court Fields School from scoring high. We put our recent practice to the test and everyone worked incredibly well as a team to field astoundingly. When it was our turn to bat, we all did well to overtake the score we were chasing and score many more. We had many high scorers who kept the rounders coming.
.
Unfortunately, the next two games did not have as much of a victorious outcome, however nonetheless we all worked hard till the end to continue our streak of brilliant fielding. Despite the scores, the team was in high spirits, working together and cheering each other on.
.
This year, from my perspective as captain, the team has made major progress, especially in our fielding technique. We came together to figure out the best way that suits us as a whole team and presented this unity on the pitch. The improvements everyone has made this year are something we should all be proud of.
.
Well played everyone, thank you for all your efforts and consistency but especially for the whole team’s determination.
