Amazing results for Pyrland in the National Schools Biathlon final at Bath University on Sunday. Tilly H came 6th in the run and an incredible 1st in the swim – placing her 3rd nationally and gaining the bronze medal.
Esme H came 20th in the run and 15th in the swim, giving her an overall placing 20th nationally. They both wore their Pyrland PE kit with pride!
Tilly’s mum Rachel told us: “They were both absolutely amazing. We are so proud of Tilly. She just seems to take it all in her stride and her sheer guts and determination never ceases to amaze me.
“It was a fantastic experience especially for Esme, who qualified for the first time this year.”
Tilly’s next aim is to gain national times to compete at the British swimming champs this summer in Sheffield. We wish her the best of luck!
