The hockey season concluded with 1-0 victory for our mixed Year 10 and 11 team over Court Fields School. Match report by Mrs Ardren.
In a tightly contested, end to end but good spirited game, Tilly H scored a crucial first half goal securing victory for Pyrland.
Esme was awesome in goal, as always. The defence of Chloe, Poppy, Lily and Abi O were like a brick wall and broke down many Court Fields attacks.
Victory, Katherine, Ella and Esme worked tirelessly in midfield. Abi F, Freya and Tilly made the Court Fields defenders lives difficult – with their movement, skilful carries into the D and many shots at goal.
A great way to end a brilliant and successful season. Well done girls.
