The Year 8 rugby team travelled to Bishop Fox’s School to play two matches, eager to take on their opponents.
The first match was against Bishop Fox’s and the boys started strong, showcasing their dominance with powerful runs and solid tackles. Their performance was a combination of good teamwork and individual brilliance, with tries from Ollie B, Myles K and Conner S sealing a well deserved victory.
.
The second match saw Pyrland face a much larger Kingsmead side. Despite putting in strong tackles and showing determination throughout, the boys struggled to maintain their defensive line, allowing Kingsmead to pick them apart and eventually secure the win.
.
Overall, it was a solid outing for Pyrland, with a great display of effort and enthusiasm from the boys. It was also encouraging to see many players eager to represent the school, with some staying behind as non traveling reserves, ready to support the team. Well done, boys!
