We took 12 of our Year 9 and 10 students to Bishop Fox’s School to compete in a STEM competition, promoting sustainability and green energy. They were given a very challenging task to design, build and test a gravity propelled vehicle, before entering the final competition where the vehicles would have to face the track.

Our students were excellent representatives of Pyrland School and were praised by the judges for their perseverance, teamwork and presentational skills. All of our vehicles worked and ran well. Both at the foundation level (Year 9) and the intermediate level (Year 10) they went the furthest on the track.
Well done to Year 9:
Team 1 – Owen F, Theo P, Chiesa H-B and Skye H.
Team 2 – Kai F, Alfie L, Dylan LL and Max J.
In Year 10:
Team 3 – Alexis B, Mateusz S, Angelou V and Alen R.
