We officially opened the new Pyrland School Library, with a special celebration and ribbon cutting ceremony by Ms Jones, Deputy Headteacher. The library has now moved into its new home, after undergoing a complete refit to create a welcoming and inspiring space.
The opening event included a variety of activities, including promoting new books bought with the proceeds of a cake sale organised by our student reading ambassadors.
One exciting change is the reorganisation of our book collection, as suggested by our student team. Books have been carefully sorted and arranged by genre, which has been a great success.
Adding a final creative touch, our Art Department is making beautiful handmade signs to label each genre section.
We are incredibly proud of what has been achieved and are looking forward to welcoming everyone.
