GCSE Results 2022 at Pyrland School

Pyrland School is celebrating today, as our GCSE results demonstrate continued strong improvement. We have seen an increase in the numbers of students achieving a pass or higher across a range of exams. The number awarded a good pass in both maths and English has increased by more than 15% and students gained three times more top grades (7 or above) than in the last public exam season.

Deputy Head Lisa Webber said: “Students have shown remarkable resilience over the last few years and today their hard work and positive attitude will be rewarded. After a challenging few years for everyone, we are overjoyed to be sending this wonderful year group off with such a strong set of grades.

“Pyrland School staff have worked so hard in our mission to rapidly improve the academic outcomes for our students and we are delighted to see such encouraging signs that we are on the right track. We wish all our students the very best of luck with their next steps.”

Students now head off to a range of exciting next steps, including A Levels and vocational routes.
